What is UGC NET?

The Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor positions in Indian universities and colleges are filled by candidates who have passed the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) or NTA UGC NET, a national exam. There will be 83 different subjects included in the UGC NET 2023 exam. The NTA UGC NET test was offered for 83 disciplines until 2021. The 83 subjects covered by the UGC NET syllabus 2023 are all different and are set forth by the University Grants Commission. The NET test was administered by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on behalf of UGC till June 2018. But starting in December 2018, the National Testing Agency (NTA) began administering the UGC NET exam.

UGC NET 2023 EWS Certificate 

The UGC NET EWS certificate will be given to individuals who applied for the UGC NET test under the economically weaker sections and who pass the exam. In the hiring exam, candidates who fall under the EWS category will be given a 10% reservation. However, candidates are not need to upload the UGC NET EWS certificate when completing the application form for the recruitment exam; instead, the certificate must be shown to the selection committee.
